What I found out today. o76

It's absolutely amazing how you can bounce back. How you can come back to the you that you have been missing. You must dance your life. And then they say happiness belongs to the self-sufficient. They say they say they say. I just try to remember simple things: For everything there is a season, And a time for every matter under heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; A time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; A time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; A time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together; A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing; A time to seek, and a time to lose; A time to keep, and a time to throw away; A time to tear, and a time to sew; A time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate, A time for war, and a time for peace. ~ Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

What you need to know about the past is that no matter what has happened, it has all worked together to bring you to this very moment. And this is the moment you can choose to make everything new. Right now.

When you decide to do something brilliant, profound and simply amazing and everything is going smoothly, what is that moment when you start wondering -- where is the catch?!. There must be something. Where is the dude you call Murphy with his laws?!.... Or maybe, just maybe, things can go smooth...?!.

Today I have learned about coming together with yourself. And --- about sometimes leaving everything for a moment. Just taking a breath. Hence, I've learned th at there are many ways, many alleys and many thoughts that in the end lead you to the final destination and in many case it's never known in advance. Not to us anyways. I ha ve also learned that freedom is not the absence of commitments. It is the ability to choose -- and commit myself to -- wha t is best for me. I have learned to let go and don't wallow in pain. As much as it is a teaching tool and something that scars you, it's always better to learn ways to free yourself from it. Pain may show you that you are on the right way but it should also remind you that it isn't the only way. ...suffering occurs when we want other people to love us in the way we imagine we want to be loved, and not in the way that love should manifest itself - free and untrammelled, guiding us with its force and driving us on. ~

I found out today that it's always worth considering *any* advice. Even something that doesn't sound like one. ...because sometimes, just sometimes, it's like this:

I must be honest, not all the attempts to think are successful in the end. Especially if it is something deep and profound; or even if it's simple and symbolic. Therefore m on petit manifeste for today is: I'm just a thought for a day today. And I keep learning, I keep trying to find the questions to the answers I have and vice versa. Yesterday a friend reminded me of an old truth -- If you do what you 've always done, you 'll get what you 've always gotten. It's all about being able to challenge yourself, to surprise yourself and to be creative within. On the other hand, Hugh was right, Wanting to be "creative" is a bit like wanting to be loved. It's a universal desire, but for SOME REASON it's something we're embarrassed to talk about. P.S. "This is Edith Piaf. I just adore her. She was this marvellous Parisian woman who had such a wonderfully tragic life. She was married 3 times & each husband died in mysterious circumstanc

It's a great thing when you realize you still have the ability to surprise yourself.

Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love, for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perenn
