What I found out today. o45
It is OK to be scared.
We are all afraid. It is no news. If you are alive, you are fearful.
Sometimes admiting part is tough though. It is the leap of faith to let yourself go. Because another thing I am re-discovering today -- being good, being sweet, being nice will not cause life to sing. Sometimes only through experiencing one's own shadows nature, particularly the exclusionary, jealous, and exploitative aspects of self. Acknowledging these unequivocally. Making the best relationship one can with the worst parts of oneself. Letting the pressure build between who one is taught to be and who one really is. Ultimately working toward letting the old self die and the new intuitive self be born.
...especially since it was said in one song: "every new beginning comes from some other beginning'send."
Sometimes it is indeed very easy to mix up time and eternity. We mostly think of time -- not so often of eternity. Sometimes it is very easy to forget one's own incorrigible ideas and personality. Indeed, who wants to come and say, "yes, I am incorrigible and I am defiant"?!.. That brings quite a load. It is a responsability. It is also a step to liberation.
"Oftentimes, what causes us to stop growing is simply growing up. When we are young, we are constantly exploring new ideas, new ways of being in the world. As we get older, we tend to figure out what it is we know and who it is we are. That knowing forms a filter that colors our experience. Stagnation is a peril of expertise." ~ Jae Malone
